Jamming on the Super Mario soundboard
Get your groove on, Electroplankton's BeatNES style, with this Flash-based Super Mario Bros.
soundboard, appropriately dubbed "The Super Mario Bros. Audiosound Super-Synthesizer." It's simple: "pick music from the column on the left" and "play sound effects from the window on the right" to make your own Mario masterpiece. Even better, try playing through World 1-1 in your head, timing the sound effects from memory just so.

[Update: The soundboard is originally from the always superlative 4cr. Thanks, guys!]

It would be better if it had a little extra scripting that would up the tempo of the music after you hit the running out of time object.

YAY!! thanks for posting my SMB super-synth! XD
originally, I created this app as an exe file to launch from the desktop, the swf file emerged because of the need for a file to be compatable on MAC and *nix platforms.
I also created an interactive METROID flash desktop with a cool-throbbing METROID and appropriate music.
let me know if you would like links to either of these.
cheers!

I don't really understand linking at sites like this anymore. No one links to the original post anymore. They link to posts about posts that talk about the original post. Why give hits to all these middle men?
